I have never pay more than $40 for a new game. There is always promotion, buy 2 get 1 free deals going on at this time of year.
I just snatched up Dark Souls, Forza 4, and Uncharted 3 at Target yesterday for a total of $120.00.
Shop around and look for deals and you should have all you want.
BTW, Best Buy is having a Buy 2 get 1 free deal starting this Sunday FYI.

I get all my Third party shooters on X360 due to my friend's list and controller/online preference. Other might like the PS3 version better.

I think going the XBLA direction is not a bad idea. Alan Wake is like a mini TV series and I could figure they can release a new episode every month for the upcoming sequel.
We just have to wait a see but I am excited because I love the original Alan Wake game.

PC online = 100,916
PS3 online = 141,180
360 online = 222,305
So it seems the sales figure sounds pretty close to the ballpark.

Why the H*ll would Rockstar want to make one of the best selling, most popular franchise in the History of gaming a one platform exclusive even though it sold more on X360 and make them alot of money? I is a personal choice but I am not getting it. I need to save up for Skyrim and Zelda. But if I were to get it, it will of course be for my X360 because I don't have a $3000 PC and my PS3 will be attached to Uncharted 3.

I stopped buying used game over a year ago. It is not due to the online pass thing but the prices of used games cost roughly the same as new ones. Gamestop is a joke and they never have any new games deal like buy two get one free type of deal you see at least once a year from competing retailers like Target and Best Buy.
